The Professional Doula Program offers over 60 hours of direct instruction over 8 weeks, combining virtual and in person training to equip you with the skills & knowledge you need to be successful. 

This course will help you focus your passion into a fulfilling career, provide you with resources and information you’ll need, and nurture you as you grow into the unique doula you will become.

You will learn a variety of labor support skills, how to prioretize and support your client’s autonomy and rights, effective techniques for preparing your client for birth, the key role of the birth doula in the early postpartum period, and key business skills for the doula.

Come prepared to laugh, cry, learn, and connect to the doula community. I’ve been a Professional Doula since 1998 and I love sharing not only the wisdom I’ve learned, but also the funny moments, the mistakes I’ve made, and all the amazing resources I’ve gathered.
